Hi, I’m Jordan — the heart, eye, and storyteller behind Jordan Z Photography, based in Bowling Green, Kentucky and I’m so glad you’re here.

While I am based in Bowling Green, Kentucky, I serve the surrounding areas Kentucky, Tennessee, and my home state of Colorado. I specialize in weddings, in-home newborns, families, and high school seniors- capturing genuine and candid moments with a brighter and true-to-color style. Long story short, I simply am enamored with capturing all stages of life.

Photography wasn’t something I stumbled into overnight; it grew quietly over time, rooted in my love for people, connection, and meaningful moments. Before weddings, portraits, and carefully curated galleries, my life looked a little different. I spent years pouring into children and families through education, learning firsthand how fleeting each season truly is. That chapter shaped the way I see the world — and more importantly, the way I photograph it.

I picked up a camera because I wanted to remember. The way tiny hands fit perfectly into their parents’. The nervous excitement before a wedding ceremony. The confidence that blooms during senior year. What began as a creative outlet quickly became a calling: to preserve moments that feel ordinary now but will one day mean everything.

Family is at the core of everything I do. My own family has taught me the value of slowing down, being present, and honoring the season you’re in — even when it feels chaotic or imperfect. Those lessons guide every session I photograph. I don’t believe in stiff poses or forced smiles. I believe in authenticity, emotion, and images that feel like you. Candid photos is the technical terms, but this means that I focus on the in-between moments at every session. Sure, I pose you in the Christmas card-everyone looking at you- photo, but after that, I’m looking for the giggles, the sweet gesture between mom and dad, the way the kids blush when mom and dad share a kiss, the hand holding, the brushing away of a hair on someone’s face. THOSE moments bring so much emotion.

Today, my work focuses on weddings, families, newborns, and seniors — each one a milestone worth remembering. I approach every session with intention, care, and a deep respect for the stories my clients trust me to tell. I’m constantly looking for those precious moments in your day, in your story, to hold on and cherish forever.

When you invite me into your life — whether it’s on your wedding day or during a quiet season at home — I don’t take that lightly. My goal is for you to feel seen, comfortable, and confident, knowing your memories are being captured with heart and purpose.
